I think this has made me the most angry. I think most regular Smoes are angry about having their taxes used to bailout private companies. And yet support for Obama is still strong, which means people aren't connecting the dots. To be fair, Bush's bailout was a bad idea as well, but on a much smaller scale than Obama's. (All bailouts have proven so far to be useless; then again, their real purpose isn't to save the economy.)
I don't understand how this news, that Obama's is refusing to accept the money from banks who want out of the bailouts, isn't affecting the popularity of Obama's presidency. BTW, what do these banks know that we don't know? Why are they fighting to pay it back? What are they afraid of?
