I didnt have anything smart to say so I wont. I just got pissed though at one part. I know it wasnt the focus of what you wrote but here it goes.

Why _____*many swear words here* was your kind of empathy wrong? Because obviously treating everyone the same...aka not giving a shit, clearly has done SO much in this country. Feeling nothing but the colorless sameness all around, puts standards that people can really "work" to accomplish, giving them so pride to know who they are.

I hate it that "white" people have to walk on egg shells around anyone with a drop of culahh. Every sentence must be thoroughly thought out before you can say anything. No wonder people dont listen anymore..everyone is tired of SHIT they just dont know it. I sat for 2 ours last nigth watching those talk shows...I was laughing most of the night...and it wasnt at their punch lines. Everything was being qualified. It was vomit inducing.
